Welcome

Julie Bornstein

for Congress

Welcome to my on-line campaign headquarters! I am honored to be the nominee of the Democratic Party to face Representative Mary Bono Mack in the November election.

Living in the 45th Congressional District for 24 years, raising my family here and owning businesses in the community, I am dismayed at the lack of attention this area has received from the federal government.

We are one of the fastest growing regions in the nation and yet our roads, public transit systems, schools, health care facilities and public safety officials are not receiving the support available to respond to our ever increasing needs.

The election of 2008 should be about our future. We deserve good-paying jobs and health care for all.  Our troops need to come home from Iraq and care be provided for our veterans.  Respect for our environment, opportunities for education and support for home ownership are key ingredients to encourage and promote healthy and caring families.

Does this campaign for a better future have a place for you?   I hope it does.  I invite you to visit each of the parts of my website – familiarize yourself with my qualifications and experience; see where I stand on the issues.

We will be filling the calendar with events and activities where you can share your concerns and interests, meet others, and hear what they are thinking and saying.

I invite you to join the campaign and support my candidacy.   You can volunteer, contribute, or pass this website information on to your friends.

Let’s make the struggle to make ends meet less difficult for all of us.  Let’s join together, and let’s work to build a better future.
